The Centers Health Care Patient Advocacy Award was created to recognize a social worker who best exemplifies the role of patient advocate. The award recipient is the guest of honor at a gala dinner that recognizes their dedication and hard work, and that of social workers throughout the Northeast. In front of their family, co-workers and industry leaders, the winner receives the acknowledgement of their peers, their employers and the industry we all love. In addition, Centers Health Care will present a donation of $5,000 to a charity selected by the winner and reimburse the winner for up to $2,500 in continuing professional education and development.
